A great place to spend the day...this is a long sweeping beach and beautiful turquoise waters. It was made famous as the site of first Pirates of the Caribbean.
Tar Bay is a very desirable area that runs for almost 3.5 miles along some of the most beautiful beach and waterfront in the Exumas.
A beautiful little cove beach and another beach a bit further south with a short walk along a grass track. You will likely have these beaches to yourself. Some interesting snorkeling and great photos here.
Another long sweeping beach with powdery soft Exuma sand and crystal turquoise water. Located just north of Georgetown amidst a series of hotels and restaurants .

There is a beautiful secluded cove with long sand bars at low tide. If you walk to the deeper water you may find a sting ray or barracuda swimming by.. Always star fish and other sea creatures to see.
